We are delighted to welcome local artist Christine Stoll as our November Art Walk Edmonds feature! Christine will be at Cascadia Art Museum from 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, November 15 as a part of the monthly Art Walk Edmonds. Admission to the museum is free this evening as well! Make sure to come by the museum to see Chirstine’s wonderful jewelry, and catch our newest exhibition Invocation of Beauty: The Life and Photography of Soichi Sunami, and our annual holiday exhibition Vintage Christmas Cards by Northwest Artists!
Christine has been designing and creating repurposed jewelry using vintage materials and found objects since 2009. After her Grandma Kathy passed away and left an amazing collection of beads and tools, Christine was inspired to carry on her grandma’s legacy. She relishes time spent hunting for vintage watch faces, keys, buttons, dictionaries, and broken jewelry for her creations. Her work is hand-crafted in her home studio in Bellevue, WA, using cold connections and resin, along with vintage and found objects to create jewelry and accessories. A portion of proceeds from her sales is donated to ovarian cancer research organizations in memory of her grandma.
