Backyard Travel Sketchbook

Getting excited about exploring your world this summer? Sketching on your summer staycation can be a time to investigate your backyard, neighborhood, or old travel photos. Local artist, Mona Fairbanks, will lead us in exploring materials to use for your sketchbook and show local inspirations to get you started.

About Mona Fairbanks

Mona is a Northwest Native making monotype prints, acrylic canvases, and most anything that can pose an artistic challenge. Inspired by Puget Sound, the rushing waters and the fragrant Douglas Firs, her work reflects patterns, colors and endangered species.
