Cascadia Art Museum offers tours for students and educators. Museum visits are led by a docent, trained in critical thinking, Common Core principles, and the Washington State curriculum requirements for history and writing. Students return to the classroom with a greater sense of their shared past, as preserved by the art and culture of our community composed of Native Americans, settlers, and immigrants around the Cascadia watershed. In addition, the docent-led project has shown teacher-reported results that students who toured the museum wrote with more detail and length than before. Tour prices are reduced for students, and free for educators and chaperones, depending on tour size. To find out more, or to schedule a tour, contact the museum through our contact page.
