The museum and gift shop are open:

Monday-Tuesday             CLOSED

Wednesday-Sunday        11AM-6PM

Art Walk Edmonds
Third Thursday of every month open late until 8PM (free from 6-8PM)

Because we periodically must close all or some of our galleries for the installation of new exhibitions, please check the dates of all shows, and our calendar, to ensure your visit will not coincide with a partial closure.  Feel free to call the museum if you are unsure about hours.

Holiday Closures

Cascadia Art Museum has adjusted hours for a few dates this holiday season.  Those changes are:

  • Closed on December 24 and 25, for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
  • Closing at 3 pm on December 31, for New Years Eve.
  • Closed on January 1, New Years Day.

Cascadia Art Museum has a large, easily accessible parking lot.  Parking is free.

Cascadia Art Museum is fully accessible to all, and our friendly volunteers are here to open doors and even hold umbrellas, for those who may need additional assistance.  There is ample room to drop off visitors in front of the main entrance near the wheelchair ramp. Complimentary wheel chair is available on request.

Gift Shop

The Cascadia Art Museum gift shop is open during all regular museum hours.  Admission to the museum is not required.  Our gift shop offers many unique gift items including a surprising collection of books, jewelry, toys and art.  Museum members always receive a 10% discount on purchases at the gift shop.

Cascadia does not have its own café or restaurant.  Visitors can choose from several nearby eateries and watering holes before or after a museum visit.  Here is a listing of the closest dining and drinking options:

Many additional dining options are available in downtown Edmonds.

Group Visits

Adult, senior and youth groups are always welcome during regular museum hours.  Although not required, we do appreciate knowing when your group is coming and how many will be in the group so that we can accommodate you properly.  If you would like to request a docent, please contact Tara at [email protected] to schedule in advance

The group rate is $7 per person and may be paid for in advance or on the day of your visit.

School/Classroom Visits

Cascadia Art Museum is happy to welcome students and youth of all ages to experience art in a museum setting.  The artwork on exhibition at the museum highlights the shared history of our past through its inhabitants, landscape, climate, and industry and culture and is perfect for visual learning.
The museum is in the process of developing educational programs designed to align with State and Common Core Standards in an effort to integrate a Northwest Art-focused component across curriculum. Self-guided and teacher-led tour programs are currently in place.

Some highlights in curriculum development include: 1) Northwest Art: Connecting students with the history, landscape and culture of our region.  2) Artistic Impressions:  Opportunities for students to learn how to look at, appreciate and create art with a dedicated focus on critical thinking strategies. And 3) Art Forum:  Students as art reviewers - integrating the art experience with opinion writing via writers’ workshop.  Please schedule classroom visits in advance by calling 425-336-4809 or emailing us through our contact page.  The classroom rate is $2.50 per student and/or chaperone; teachers are free during classroom visits.
