Collage Flower Pots for Mother’s Day | Virtual Family Art Workshop

Looking for ways to add an artistic touch to your garden? In Cascadia’s next Virtual Family Art Workshop, you can join local artist Lynn Hanson in creating beautiful flower pots for indoor or outdoor plants just in time for Mother’s Day.

How to Register:

This class is taking place via zoom. Please use the green registration form below to register for the class. You can reserve an art materials bag for $1.00. If you would like to purchase an art materials bag, please register for the class using the green form and then purchase an art bag using the button above the registration form. Material Bags will be available for pick up at the museum on Thursday & Friday,  May 7 & 8 from 12:00-5:00pm. Materials Included in Materials Bag:

  • Plastic recycled container (will be gessoed so that materials can adhere to the surface)
  • Matt medium for adhering collage materials
  • Painted papers to be cut into collage pieces
  • Patterns for designs to cut from painted papers (you can also create your own designs)

Materials Not Included in Materials Bag:

  • Paint brush to adhere paper pieces
  • Soil and plants or seeds
  • Sharpie marker
