Holiday Card Contest
Cascadia Art Museum is known for its extensive and beautiful annual exhibition of Vintage Holiday Cards by Northwest Artists. We are excited to once again invite the community to participate in our annual Holiday Card Contest!
Entries will be displayed in conjunction with our exhibition Vintage Christmas Cards by Northwest Artists, 1900-1990s throughout the month of December. Museum visitors will vote for their favorite card. The winner’s design will be announced on social media and published in our newsletter. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to the Cascadia Art Museum Store.
Contest Guidelines
- Card designs should be based on the winter holiday season. We encourage you to be creative in your designs!
- Entries should not exceed 8.5” x 11” and must be unframed.
- Submissions can be delivered in-person to the Museum during our regular business hours (Wed – Sun, 11am-5pm) or mailed to the address below. We do not accept email or digital submissions.
- Please include your name, artwork title (if applicable), artwork medium, email address, phone number and street address on the back of your design. Submissions without this information will not be accepted.
- One entry per person.
- Artwork must be an original design created by the participant. Please do not use AI when creating your card.
- All art submitted becomes the property of Cascadia Art Museum. You will have the opportunity to pick up your card at the end of the contest.
- The submitted artwork will be reviewed by our Holiday Art committee. The winner will be selected by visitor votes.
- The deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on November 30, 2026.
- The winner will be announced at the close of the Vintage Holiday Card exhibition on January 4th, 2027 via email.

Artwork Release Statement
Cascadia Art Museum is granted permission to use Holiday Card Contest submitted artwork for promotional, educational, and exhibition purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, reproduction in print and digital materials, social media, and on the museum’s website.
By participating in this contest, I confirm that I hold the rights to this artwork and that the use of my work by Cascadia Art Museum will not infringe on any third-party rights.
