The Art of Seeing is a celebration of the life and career of Seattle’s prominent cultural icon, art dealer Zoë Dusanne (1884-1972). Dusanne, a groundbreaking art dealer and cultural advocate, shaped Seattle’s modern art scene and helped elevate Northwest artists to wider recognition. The exhibition features work by various artists represented by the Zoë Dusanne Gallery including Paul Horiuchi, B.L. Hyde, John Matsudaira, and George Tsutakawa. A new book on Dusanne written by Beth Ann Whittaker-Williams and Richelle Munkhoff, co-founders of Plain Sight Archive, will have its launch at the opening.
