Has art made an impact in your life? For Tamara, a Cascadia volunteer, art has inspired an exciting new career direction. In her time at the museum, Tamara experienced the power of art to build empathy and bring people together through the celebration of our unique Northwest art heritage.
She was inspired by you, our Cascadia community, and your dedication to sharing the untold stories of the artists who significantly shaped our creative culture. Tamara began her graduate studies in Museology at the University of Washington this fall, and you helped to spark her journey.
Over this past year, we’ve all experienced the power of art in helping us find comfort and understanding in times of change. Like many institutions, Cascadia has been significantly impacted by an extended closure earlier this year, and we are currently in the midst of another.
