Music in the Museum

Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev & Schumann

Milica Jelača Jovanović, piano

Saturday, May 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Pianist Milica Jelača Jovanović thrilled us in her 2022 concert at Cascadia.  She’s returning to share virtuosic pieces by Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Schumann and selected American and Serbian composers.  Milica has performed across Europe and North America, appeared in TV and radio broadcasts, holds a master of music from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Michigan.  Professor Jovanović runs the piano program at WWU.

Cascadia’s concert series is a unique opportunity to enjoy leading classical performers up close, in our intimate gallery setting surrounded by beautiful art from the Northwest – the way chamber music was meant to be experienced!

Your concert ticket includes admission to all the museum galleries.  Our concerts are about one-hour in length starting at 6 PM, leaving you time to dine out after –  altogether a perfect evening.  Make sure you come early to see our current exhibits.

Seating is limited and these concerts often sell-out, so please we suggest reserving your seats well in advance.

$14 for Museum Members
$20 for Non-Members
