As part of Cascadia Art Museum’s fifth anniversary, it is celebrating Director of Operations Nate Hegerberg, who has been with the museum from the beginning.

Hegerberg has worked in the museum field since graduating from Washington State University in 2015 with a degree in art history and a focus on museum studies.

Hegerberg was brought in for the Cascadia’s first exhibit, “A Fluid Tradition: Northwest Watercolor Society at 75.”

The museum said Hegerberg’s expertise in handling exhibition design, the volunteer program, website design, and all day-to-day operations of the museum has allowed the museum to flourish.

“The museum not only celebrates the milestone of a five-year anniversary ,but also the invaluable contribution of Nate Hegerberg,” said Director of Development Sally Ralston.

“We want to take this opportunity to publicly celebrate and thank Nate for his important contributions toward the success of Cascadia Art Museum.”
