Today we are excited to introduce Studio Cascadia!
Studio Cascadia is a learning studio for people of all ages. Professional and teaching artist Mona Fairbanks will guide us through hands-on art projects using common materials that can easily be found at home. These projects will help us build our own artistic skills and learn about the seven elements of art.
What are the elements of art, you ask?
The elements of art are the building blocks that all visual artists use to create their works. They can be used together or separately, in simple or complex ways. Once you gain a deeper understanding of the elements, you’ll be able to appreciate and analyze visual artworks based on their most basic components.
Today we are exploring line, one of the seven elements of art. So grab a piece of paper and something to draw with, and let’s get started with this art project!
