Cascadia Art Museum presents an exhibition based on figurative works by some of the Northwest’s most acclaimed sculptors active in the mid-20th century.

Since the beginning of time, the human form has been the main source of inspiration for artists from around the world. Whether the figures are depicted realistically or used as a starting point for abstraction, they convey an intimate reaction that is instantly relatable to the viewer.

Most of the works in this exhibition have been recently donated to the museum’s permanent collection, making Cascadia Art Museum’s regional holdings among the strongest of any museum in Washington state.
